I am a thoughtful, curious Seattle-based visual designer and Ballard native. I enjoy using creative thinking to identify problems and develop smart design solutions. As a person who is able to see both sides to a situation, I'm good with grey area — I am both detail-oriented and big picture minded. I'm an introvert and a Leo. My style is playful and bold but I'll never pass up a good soft gradient. I'm a digital designer with a love for paper making and the tactility of a well-worn book.
Books brought me to where I am. My love for words and storytelling led me to major in English at Whitman College. Writing articles for the school newspaper evolved into designing the pages which turned into a design internship at Seattle magazine. My experiences living abroad, teaching non-English speakers, and bartending helped me develop a knack for understanding people's needs beyond what is verbally communicated. Although I didn't realize it at the time, these experiences combined brought me to the Seattle Central Creative Academy.
As a recent Graphic Design graduate, I am currently looking for a job in an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
